I am a PhD candidate in Economics at the European Center for Advanced Research in Economics and Statistics, Université libre de Bruxelles (ECARES-ULB), supervised by Prof. Georg Kirchsteiger and Prof. Philip Verwimp. I am doing research as a research fellow at the Fonds de la Recherche Scientifique – FNRS (F.R.S.-FNRS).
My research interests cover Behavioral and Experimental Economics, Applied Microeconomics, and Industrial Organization. I currently focus on fairness concerns in individual decision-making. In the context of purchase decisions, I examine consumers’ psychological responses to price discrimination and study how firms (including one-sided sellers and two-sided platforms) strategically tailor prices. In the context of resource allocation decisions, I study how people’s fairness concerns evolve along with an endogenous process of extending (or shrinking) power.
In addition, I participate in some practice-oriented and data-driven research on digitization for business and society in collaboration with the Research Center for Cyber-Economy and Knowledge Management at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS-SEM).
Until November 2026, I am visiting the Department of Economics, Tilburg University, hosted by Prof. Jan Potters.
